Jhansi Chief Development Officer Junaid Ahmed stated that benefits have so far been given to more than 300 consumers under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Awas Yojana. A target has been defined for inclusion of more than 50,000 consumers under this scheme.
Under the scheme, the subsidy has been provided on solar panels according to different loads. That means benefits will be given to citizens on subsidy based on their purchased capacity of solar panels.
